Seguritech, as the entity responsible for the access to the Mujer SOS mobile application, provides this document to comply with obligations related to its use and, in particular, to inform users about the conditions governing its usage.
These terms and conditions will be governed and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of Mexico.
By downloading and using the Mujer SOS mobile application, the user expressly waives any other jurisdiction or legal venue that might apply and agrees to submit to the jurisdiction and authority of the courts located in Mexico.
Any individual or legal entity that downloads, installs, or provides information to or from Mujer SOS is considered a user.
Seguritech informs users that both access to and use of the Mujer SOS application, as well as the services or content available through it, are subject to the terms detailed in this Legal Notice
Seguritech does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the content accessible is error-free or permanently updated. However, it will make reasonable efforts to prevent disruptions and address any issues or update the content as soon as possible.
Please note that the information and services are periodically updated, and since updates are not immediate, users are advised to verify the currency and accuracy of the information.
The conditions outlined in this Notice may change and take immediate effect upon update. Users are encouraged to review these terms whenever using the application.
Access to the Mujer SOS application and the information provided are the sole responsibility of the user. Seguritech shall not be held liable for any consequences, damages, or harm arising from access or use, except for actions required under legal provisions within the scope of its authority.
Personal data provided through Mujer SOS will be protected under applicable transparency and legal provisions.
Access to certain content or services of Mujer SOS may require users to meet specific conditions or accept terms explicitly stated within the application.
If users do not agree with the terms of this Legal Notice, they are advised not to use the application. Any use of the application or the services and content it contains implies acceptance of these terms.
Seguritech reserves the right to block or remove any user from accessing Mujer SOS.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Seguritech reserves the right to amend, supplement, or suspend Mujer SOS, in whole or in part, without prior notice, to modify, correct, update, or add or remove content or design elements
Access and use of the service require prior registration. Users may only use Mujer SOS on mobile devices they own and control (e.g., Apple iPhone, iPad, or Android devices).
Through the application, users can generate a service request number to Seguritech's Operations Center. For this purpose, the application will record the user’s geographic location using the device’s GPS to connect them with specialized personnel.
The notification will be processed and forwarded to the appropriate Seguritech Operations Center within Mexico.
Seguritech is not responsible for any harm or damage users may incur from relying on information provided by Mujer SOS when making decisions about initiating, handling, or resolving judicial procedures.
Users are reminded that under the Mexican Penal Code, making unnecessary emergency calls or alerts through any means of communication under one’s control is punishable by imprisonment and fines. Such actions will be sanctioned accordingly, as per the applicable legislation.
The intellectual property rights of Mujer SOS, including its graphic design and source code, are owned by Seguritech unless otherwise specified. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, commercialization, or transformation of this material—except for personal and private use—constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights.
All distinctive signs and trademarks contained in the application are protected by law.
Any damages to intellectual or industrial property rights may result in legal action and corresponding liabilities.
All text, information, data, photographs, audio, and video materials appearing in Mujer SOS are the property of Seguritech.
